Meet Groot, a 6-year-old neutered male Australian Shepherd looking for his forever home in Waynesboro, PA. Groot arrived at our rescue because his previous owner couldn’t take him along during a move. He’s a gentle giant, mellow and easy-going, with a fondness for the great outdoors. Groot loves long walks and could spend hours outside, exploring all the captivating smells. He enjoys being brushed and is great at keeping his fluffy coat well-groomed. While Groot has no issues passing by other dogs on walks, he prefers to be the only dog in the home. His previous owners noted he was not keen on playing with other dogs in fenced areas or off-leash.
