About Henry
Henry is a playful, energetic young pup looking for his forever home in Kearneysville, WV. At around 5 months old, and weighing in at roughly 15 pounds, he's a Lab and Australian Shepherd mix with striking black and cream fur and a medium coat. Henry came in alongside his sister Hattie after a stint with Animal Control, and is eager for a new start. He's all about fun and adventure—ready to dive into whatever you’re doing, especially if it involves being outdoors. Henry seeks attention and enjoys meeting new people, making him a strong candidate to be your go-to adventure buddy. Like most puppies, he still needs plenty of basic training but already shows promise thanks to his eagerness to please. Henry gets along well with other dogs and tends to bark during introductions just to assert himself, mostly as a reaction if another dog barks first. With cats, he may bark too, but he could likely adjust with a careful introduction. His behavior with children is unknown, so some supervision and patience would be wise if kids are around. He’s not house trained yet, but given his age and personality, this will improve with attention and routine. Henry will be neutered, microchipped, and have all his vaccines before joining your family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
