Bailey, affectionately known as "Biggie," is a five-year-old King Shepherd rescued after a tough situation. She’s a gentle giant, currently weighing about 115 pounds, and she’s looking for a loving home. Bailey has a calm demeanor and loves lounging on her oversized dog bed, but she gets excited for walks and will eagerly anticipate them with twirls and barks. While she does pull on the leash, she responds well to gentle corrections. Her new family will need to continue leash training and exercise to help her build strength. In her previous home, Bailey lived with a small dog and a cat, showing little interest in them. In her foster home, she’s met other dogs and behaves well, displaying a gentle interest when meeting small animals. Although she's protective, she’s not overly so and is comfortable around small children. Bailey is affectionate but enjoys her own space and doesn’t need constant attention. An intelligent girl, she is food-motivated and has successfully gone through basic obedience training. Bailey is great with baths and vet visits, gets along well during nail trims, and is fully house-trained. After a difficult transition, she has thrived in rescue and is ready for her forever home.
