About Winter
Winter is a lovely girl ready to find her forever home. She arrived at our shelter with several siblings from an unwanted litter and was in rough shape, needing some extra care. Although she was quite nervous at first, she quickly shows her cuddly side once she feels comfortable. Winter might need a little assistance with leash training, but she knows how to sit nicely on command and has participated in puppy playgroups with other dogs. She's gentle and submissive, enjoying the company of calmer puppies, so having another playful dog friend in her new home would likely make her happy. Winter is a bit shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. She gets along with children without any issues, and while she might be fearful around cats, a slow introduction should help her. Due to her early environment, she may need some help with potty training and adapting to basic puppy life. Currently, she has a short coat and a striking mix of gray and white colors. With some patience and love, Winter will thrive. She's heartworm negative and ready to start fresh. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
