About Damon
Damon is a sweet, people-oriented pup who lights up when he gets attention and pets. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was skinny and rough around the edges, but he’s made impressive progress thanks to good care and his own upbeat attitude. Damon’s now enjoying the comforts of a foster home, where his constantly wagging tail and sunny personality are on full display. He’s happiest curled up next to you or stretched out in a sunbeam, but he's just as happy romping around outside or staying busy with toys. He gets along well with his large canine foster sibling, often play-bowing and acting submissive when they meet new dogs, though he can entertain himself if needed. Damon has shown that he’s smart and motivated—he’s picking up new skills quickly and already knows how to sit and take treats gently. He does well in a crate when left alone, and he’s fully house trained. Cats aren't his thing; they make him nervous, so a cat-free home would be best. His experience with children is still unknown. Damon is an Aries, which makes him energetic and eager to connect. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
