Meet Wyatt, a resilient and charming one-year-old pup who is eager to turn the page on his past and start his forever adventure. Wyatt arrived at the shelter in January, emaciated and with a tail wound that needed some medical intervention. After some well-deserved recovery in his foster home, his tail is back in action, and his personality is truly shining. Wyatt embodies the spirit of a pure puppy. He's clever, food-motivated, and eager to please. His love for treats makes training a breeze, and he's already showing impressive progress. Like any young, energetic dog, he’s still mastering his house manners. His delightful herding dog playfulness sometimes leads to little nips, but these moments are easy to redirect. Wyatt is officially accident-free, thanks to his consistent potty training routine. Daily life with Wyatt is a joy. He enjoys enrichment activities like working through frozen topple toys, snuffle mats, or his favorite wobble toy during breakfast. Wyatt has taken to crate training remarkably well, often opting to nap on top of it for added comfort. He loves long, leisurely walks through his neighborhood or Tower Grove Park and is generally nonreactive to his surroundings, though he shows curiosity around other dogs and the occasional squirrel. After a day filled with activities, he’s the perfect partner for cozy evening snuggles.
