About Zoey
Zoey is a 5-year-old Shih-Tzu and Terrier mix with a sweet, outgoing spirit. She thrives around people, soaking up attention, and is comfortable with adults as well as respectful kids ages eight and up. Zoey enjoys other dogs—she’s happy to play chase in the yard but prefers gentler play rather than roughhousing. Confident cats don't phase her, but she does have a strong urge to chase smaller animals like guinea pigs or birds, so she’d do best in a home without those pets. Leash walks are a breeze with Zoey, and her potty training is coming along well. She’s known to smile when she wants attention or feels happy, and she’s quite the TV watcher—especially when there are dogs onscreen. Zoey loves to look out the windows during car rides, so a harness or crate is safest for travel. Her vocal nature means apartment life might not be ideal, but a fenced yard isn't required as long as she gets her walks and daily exercise. Zoey is spayed, up to date on vaccines, has had a dental, is heartworm negative (and on preventative), and is microchipped. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
