Meet Summer, a loving 7-year-old mixed breed canine who has faced her share of challenges. After being surrendered by her family due to their loss of housing, she found herself in a scary shelter environment. Thankfully, Miracle Lane Farm & Sanctuary stepped in to rescue her, providing her a caring foster home where she’s been able to feel safe and loved. Summer is a gentle soul who truly enjoys the company of humans, especially older kids and cats. While she prefers to be the only dog in the home, she makes up for it with her affectionate nature. Summer absolutely adores cheese and is eager to learn new tricks for a tasty reward. She enjoys walking—whether it's a short stroll or a longer hike—and she loves to play with her rope toys, although she’s often ready for a nap soon after. Fully potty trained and well-behaved, Summer will let you know when it's time to head outside, and she’s a pro at loose leash walking.
