Meet Pastelito, one of our Foundation Five who has turned a rough start into a bright future. Just eight weeks ago, he and his siblings were found struggling for survival beneath the ruins of an abandoned building in Puerto Rico. Now, they’ve come a long way; these playful puppies are healthy, happy, and ready to find their forever homes. At around 8 pounds, Pastelito is expected to remain on the smaller side, following in the footsteps of his 25-pound mother who's a Terrier mix. He has a wonderful temperament, loving other dogs, cats, and children alike. Watching him romp and play with his siblings is a testament to how far he’s come—from survival to thriving.
