About Ayla Blind

Ayla Blind is around 4 years old and has spent a significant part of her life in shelters, but now she’s ready to finally settle into a real home. For the past month in foster, Ayla has shown she’s an easy companion—she’s house trained, does well on a leash, settles quietly in a crate, and knows her basic commands. She’s happiest lounging wherever she can find a soft spot and will gladly act as your oversized lap dog, soaking up attention. Ayla is blind and needs eye drops twice daily, but she takes them with ease—just say "eyedrops for Ayla" and she patiently sits. Her blindness doesn’t hold her back; she maps out new spaces quickly, handles stairs without help, and signals politely when she needs to go out. Most of her day is spent relaxing, with short bursts of gentle play, snack breaks, and a signature happy dance when you come home. She’s very social, loving people of all ages, and is gentle with children in the home. Ayla prefers a cat-free space but has lived with cats and kittens without issue, given some supervision, since she can’t chase what she can’t see. Mostly she prioritizes cuddles and naps. She’s ready to join a family who appreciates a mellow, good-natured buddy who promises endless affection and loyalty in return. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
