About Griffin

Meet Griffin, affectionately known as "Finn." At just 8 months old, this Rottweiler is ready for a loving home. His journey hasn’t been easy; he was found abandoned in a garage in Charlotte and spent a harrowing time in a shelter before being rescued by a caring foster family. After a few quiet days, Finn has opened up to love and life in a home. Griffin is a loyal companion who bonds quickly with people. He isn't a barker—his foster family has only heard him vocalize once! He has made three dog friends, but he needs structured introductions to new canine buddies due to his early insecurity. Finn adores toys, and his special treat is whipped cream, although he’s not overly focused on food. Finn has picked up house manners remarkably well, having mastered crate training and is close to being fully house trained. Loud noises still unsettle him, so a calm, patient environment is key to helping him feel safe and secure. Griffin requires an experienced adopter who understands the needs of working breeds and can offer the guidance he needs to continue developing confidence. He thrives on human connection, preferring to be indoors with his people rather than left outside. This remarkable boy is looking for a forever home that values companionship and stability.
