Lady Liberty is a bold, smart, and driven Rottweiler whose spark is impossible to ignore. She came into rescue roughly a year ago, marked as "unadoptable" due to a mild, stable Grade 2 heart murmur. Regular vet checks have shown no change, and she’s never let it slow her down. Liberty’s mind is sharp—she craves learning, and dives into agility with real enthusiasm. With access to water, she transforms into a relentless swimmer and takes any physical or mental challenge in stride. At home, Lady Liberty is equal parts working dog and affectionate companion. She thrives on having a job, whether it’s structured training, dog sports, or anything that taps into her Rottie instincts. After workouts, she melts into a cuddly, ultra-affectionate partner who’s happiest pressed up beside you. Out in public, she welcomes other dogs and people, but at home, she has the strong “big sister” presence of a true boss. She’d flourish as an only dog, or possibly with a laid-back, large male for company—no pushovers or timid personalities, and not a match for cats. Housebroken, crate trained, spayed, and current on vaccines, Lady Liberty is ready for an active home where she’ll be challenged and loved in equal measure.
