Meet Sage! This 7-month-old husky/lab mix is bursting with personality and packs 30 pounds of charm into her compact frame. She arrived at Great Lakes Dog Rescue with her sister Sheba, and they are both hoping to find their forever homes. Sage is spunky and always eager for an adventure. She loves her toys and treats, making it easy to keep her happy. A true sweetheart, she is more than ready to soak up all the love you can give her. After a long day, you can count on this sweet girl to be quite the conversationalist. She'll happily let you know how excited she is to spend time with you. Sage gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for your family pup. She knows "sit" and is eager to learn even more if you have some tasty treats on hand. As a young dog, Sage will thrive with daily exercise and ongoing training, so a yard to play in is essential. It's best for her to have someone around most of the time, as she loves being close to her family. We believe Sage would do best in an active home, preferably with adults or families with children aged eight and older.
