About Maya

Meet Maya ❤️ She’s a delightful 6-year-old Cattle Dog and Husky mix looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Maya is fully potty trained and crate trained, having recently completed an intensive board-and-train program that greatly improved her leash skills, confidence, and impulse control. This sweet pup is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. She thrives on structure and consistency, forming strong bonds with her people. Maya's ideal home would be one where there are adults or families with older children, and where she can get plenty of daily exercise—about 3 miles of walking. While she’s working through some separation anxiety and resource guarding, her ongoing training continues to pay off wonderfully. We include two private training sessions through From The Heart Dog Services to ensure you and Maya can make a seamless transition together. This loving girl has so much affection to give and is ready to grow with the right companion. Interested in fostering or adopting Maya? We’d love to tell you more!
