About Tumnus
Meet Tumnus! This charming mixed-breed pup, approximately 8 months old and weighing around 35 pounds, is a delightful medium-large Heinz 57 mix. With traits that hint at hound, Boxer, and perhaps a touch of Dachshund, Tumnus is a curious and playful boy. He thrives on toys, enjoys playing fetch, and loves engaging with other dogs once he's familiar with them. Tumnus is making great progress with crate training and consistently keeps his space clean. He’s still perfecting his potty training skills and usually lets you know when it’s time to go outside. Learning basic commands and manners is also on his agenda, making this the ideal time for continued training. Adding to his personality, Tumnus has a unique habit of "talking" to his humans, which includes barking at Lex Luthor on TV! His playful nature also shines through when he nibbles on your toes for attention. Tumnus would be happiest with an active family and a fenced yard where he can run and play freely. With some patience as he settles into his new home, this goofy pup will become the most loving companion you could ask for! Adoption applications may take up to 48 hours to process, and all CAWS pets are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
