About Messi
Meet Messi, a 5-month-old male Great Dane mix who's looking for a loving home. Rescued as a stray along with three siblings in West Virginia, Messi has been on quite a journey. He and his brother Ronaldo were very timid when they first arrived at the shelter but have since moved to a loving foster home in Buffalo with more confident dogs around. Messi is gradually gaining confidence. Initially apprehensive about crossing doorways and new situations, he now follows his foster family around the house. He enjoys the company of other dogs and tends to look up to them for guidance. This gentle pup is still getting comfortable with people but will warm up quickly in a calm environment. Messi has spent time around children; with patience, he will do well as long as they're not too chaotic. Currently, Messi is getting used to going potty outside, and while he’s not fully house trained yet, he's on the right track. If you think Messi would fit well into your home, take the next step and apply to adopt him today!
