About Brooklyn
Meet Brooklyn, a wonderful Great Dane with a heart full of love. She's outgoing, affectionate, and a champion snuggler, eager to lean in for any affection available. While she has her stubborn moments, Brooklyn thrives with a consistent routine, quickly adapting to home life. Brooklyn enjoys walks and spending time with her human companions. Though she may bark when visitors arrive, she settles down soon after. She has a history of interacting well with children ages 5 and up, but supervision with younger kids is recommended due to her size and energy. In her previous home, Brooklyn cohabited with both a medium-sized dog and cats. Currently, she shares her space with a calm male Great Dane, and they get along famously. Nonetheless, she should be introduced to smaller or more dominant dogs carefully to avoid overstimulation. She shows interest in cats, and while she can be playful, supervision is key in those situations. This lovely lady is crate-trained and knows basic commands. She does well in her kennel but can be a bit mischievous if left unsupervised. Brooklyn is mostly healthy, with occasional urinary incontinence during sleep, which might require special bedding. She sometimes takes anti-anxiety medication, contributing to her calm demeanor. Her ideal forever home would be calm and structured, with no more than six hours of alone time. Brooklyn does best with calm, non-dominant dogs and would appreciate supervision if there are children or cats around. Fun fact: she’s a world-class snuggler who considers personal space an option!
