Already, he's mastering the art of being a "Lapador Retriever," meaning he'll gladly sit in your lap, no matter how big he grows. Ira came to us from a local impound and is quickly proving to be one of those unbelievably lovable puppies who makes friends wherever he goes. He enjoys playing with toys, adores other dogs, and is great with kids and cats, always ready for his next adventure. He's already picked up some puppy basics, knowing how to sit and being potty trained. Ira rides well in the car and settles nicely in his kennel, though he still needs fun practice on the leash. He has the typical curiosity of a puppy, zigzagging and exploring every inch of his surroundings. Beyond his charming personality, Ira's wrinkly face and those fun black spots on his tongue only add to his cuteness. He’s super food motivated, making training easy and enjoyable for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.
