Meet Kennedy! This sweet girl and her five siblings narrowly escaped euthanasia right before the Fourth of July, thanks to compassionate rescuers who gave them a second chance. They’ve all been named to honor their brave mama, Liberty, a loving Cattle Dog mix who has nurtured them with care. At just four weeks old, Kennedy is a delightful Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix, full of potential and ready for her forever home in about 4-5 weeks after receiving her next round of vaccinations. Right now, she’s busy discovering the joys of puppyhood—wobbly steps, playful tumbles with her littermates, and blissful naps snuggled together. Kennedy's personality is blossoming into one that is sweet, curious, and affectionate; she looks to humans for love and companionship. Although her start was challenging, she thrives in her foster care, soaking up attention and exploring all the wonderful new experiences ahead of her. Raising a puppy is a commitment, and Kennedy will need guidance with crate training, house training, leash walking, and socialization to grow into a well-rounded adult. Australian Shepherds and Cattle Dogs are known for being intelligent and eager to form strong bonds. Kennedy will flourish in a home that provides her with plenty of exercise, training, and love.
