Meet Benson, an adorable approximately 8-month-old sweetheart with markings that catch the eye. Her beautiful white stripe between her expressive eyes, snowy nose, and white-speckled neck and back make her stand out, especially alongside her floppy brown ears. Benson has a calm, gentle demeanor that’s unusual for a puppy, but she still loves to romp and play with other dogs before curling up under the covers for cuddle time with her favorite person. She prefers to sleep tucked in close, often with her head or paws resting against her human. Benson is making fantastic strides in her house training. She’ll let you know when she needs to go out by whining, and she’s great about using pee pads when necessary. This quick learner already knows "sit" and "down," and she’s highly motivated by food, particularly canned goodies or tasty chews! Outdoor adventures are her joy, as she loves to sniff out every interesting scent. Fetch is a favorite activity, and she rides well in the car. Benson adores children and welcomes visitors, dreaming of making friends with every dog she meets. Like any young pup, Benson is still in the process of learning. She hasn't had much crate training yet, and being left alone is a challenge for her. She expresses her discontent with adorable puppy protests, but she’s making good progress as she settles into her foster home.
