About Lilly
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Lilly is a sweet and gentle Beagle/Hound mix who, along with her sisters, came to the rescue after being removed from a hoarding situation. Just over a year old (born December 5, 2023), Lilly weighs approximately 28 pounds and is still learning what it means to be a dog in a loving foster home. She adores playing with other dogs and truly prefers canine companionship over people at this stage of her life. With a calm and patient family, Lilly will continue to blossom. She may be suitable for homes with older children (over age 12), but her deepest joy comes from being with another dog. An ideal environment for her would be quiet and stable, without much hustle and bustle—bonus points for adopters experienced with Beagles or hounds! Lilly loves time outdoors and needs a secure, above-ground fenced yard where she can safely satisfy her curious, active nature. She is not suited for apartment or condo living, as she likes to bark and needs more space to explore. Lilly is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on prevention medicine year-round. Fun fact: with a Sagittarius sun sign, she's sure to bring energy and adventure into your life! If you're located near the northwest suburbs of Chicago and can offer Lilly the loving, patient home she deserves, she just might be your perfect new friend. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
