About Holly
Holly is an easygoing Hound who brings a lot of heart to any home. At around 8 to 10 years old and weighing roughly 65 lbs, she's got the relaxed temperament of a classic couch potato but still shows a sharp, watchful side. Her days are happily spent lounging on her favorite dog bed, joining her people on walks (though she could use some leash work), soaking up car rides, or making sure the local wildlife respects her space. Mostly, she’ll bark if something sets her off—mealtime, a guest at the door, or a cheeky squirrel taunting from the yard. She gets along well with calm, well-mannered dogs, but doesn’t take to the rowdier ones who won’t let her snooze in peace. Holly thrives in a household that understands the Hound mindset and can offer her a large, securely fenced yard. Another gentle canine companion is welcome, but she’s content as an only dog too. She might do fine with older children, but younger kids could be a bit much for her. Despite her age, Holly is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She’s ready for a laid-back, loving home with folks who get Hounds. They really are one of a kind. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
