About Turtle

Turtle is not a shelled reptile, but a sweet little pup looking for his forever home! This Chihuahua mix is around 7 years old and weighs approximately 7.2 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs, and while we haven’t seen him with kids or cats yet, we’re happy to discuss integration techniques with potential adopters. Turtle dreams of a cozy home where he can explore the world alongside his humans, enjoying sniffy walks and a comfortable dog bed. He knows what he wants: a safe space to belong in and lots of love to give. In return, he promises endless adoring gazes and loyalty. Currently living at Lucky Dog’s South Carolina campus, Turtle needs a foster or forever home in the DC area where he can truly thrive. Although we cannot guarantee he's housebroken, all dogs are working on crate training. Have you got a place in your heart for this charming boy? He’s ready to love you!
