Social by nature, Walter gets along well with other dogs, making friendships that help him gain confidence. He's new to many experiences, and a patient family will be essential as he adapts to his role as a family pet. With consistent support and encouragement, Walter continues to grow and flourish. He’s progressing nicely with house training, although he still needs regular trips outside and is comfortable using a potty pad when necessary. Walter feels most secure sleeping beside his humans. To help him along, a physically fenced yard is required. This safe space will allow him to explore and build confidence while learning leash walking at his own pace. His ideal home will be loving and understanding of the unique needs of rescued dogs, as every new adventure is a stepping stone towards his growth.
