About Dory

Meet Dory! This little bundle of joy is part of a lively litter of eight puppies searching for their forever homes. Her mama is a charming Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Border Collie mix, and thanks to DNA testing, we know her dad was a Golden Retriever. With that mix, expect Dory to grow into a smart, loyal companion. Born on May 15, Dory is currently 9 pounds and is anticipated to grow into a medium-sized dog, around 50-70 pounds as an adult. She’s a true people-puppy, always eager to follow her humans from room to room. When it's time to wind down, she loves curling up on a lap to soak in all the affection. If you want a furry shadow who will be your cuddle buddy, Dory fits the bill perfectly. Dory is still in the early stages of housetraining, so her new family should be committed to continuing her training. She'll need outdoor breaks every few hours during the day until she learns to hold it longer. As she’s expected to be a larger dog, a physically fenced yard is essential for her to safely run and play. Dory will be ready to go home with her new family around July 24, and she will be spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and receive essential vaccinations before adoption. Prospective adopters will need to handle her third distemper/parvo booster and rabies vaccination when the time comes. If you're on the hunt for a puppy who’ll stick close during both playtime and downtime, Dory can’t wait to meet you! Adopters must live within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA and be committed to indoor living. Adoption fee is $400. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
