About Gingy URGENT

Gingy is in urgent need of a safe, loving home to recover from an upper respiratory infection. At just 13 weeks old, this adorable Pit Bull Terrier arrived at the shelter on July 1, 2026, and his time is running short. He deserves a second chance to thrive in a nurturing environment. Currently held at the Kern County Animal Services – Bakersfield Shelter, Gingy is among over 300 dogs waiting for their forever homes. The shelter is overcrowded, and many animals face the risk of euthanasia due to insufficient space and the overwhelming number of abandoned pets in the area. If you're interested in adopting or fostering Gingy, please reach out to the Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS). Due to staff shortages, they are unable to answer phone calls, so please use their contact form for inquiries. You can help give Gingy the life he deserves!
