Meet Piper, a 4-month-old Sato puppy with striking gentle eyes. She weighs about 20 lbs and has a soft, sensitive personality. Like many Satos, she is gradually learning that the world can be a safe space, growing more confident day by day. Piper can be a bit shy and cautious around new people and situations, so she needs a patient adopter who understands shy dogs. Once she feels secure, she becomes quite the Velcro companion, eager to stay by your side. She forms strong bonds with her humans and simply enjoys being in their presence. She gets along well with other dogs and has enjoyed her playdates with neighborhood pups. Though she can be protective of her favorite person when another dog approaches, she is making excellent progress with positive reinforcement. Piper sleeps contently in her crate and continues to work on leash and potty training, showing steady improvement. Consistency and encouragement will help her flourish. Piper is looking for a family that can support her journey to become the loving and confident companion she is meant to be.
