About Cooper

Meet Cooper, your future companion. He arrived at our shelter from the San Bernardino City Shelter and is now enjoying life in Canoga Park, where he’s been charming everyone in the San Fernando Valley. At just 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs, Cooper is a sweet, goofy Husky with a generous dose of affection. Cooper embodies all things Husky: opinionated, talkative, and ready to share his thoughts. Whether he’s greeting you at the door, narrating his walks, or voicing his displeasure over dinner delays, you’ll quickly learn that his lively personality is just part of his charm. He’s a love bug at heart, showering everyone with kisses and showing an easygoing nature that makes him great with kids. He gets along well with most dogs, although he can be a bit choosy about his friends. With slow introductions, there’s a good chance he could adapt to a cat household, but an experienced owner is preferred. Cooper is crate trained, healthy, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He shouldn’t be crated for more than 2 to 4 hours at a stretch and thrives in an active home, ideally with long daily walks. Cooper is available for adoption anywhere in the USA and is patiently waiting in Canoga Park, CA. If you’re familiar with the delightful chaos of living with a Husky, he might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet him!
