About Damien
Damien is in search of his forever pack. At just one and a half years old and weighing 50 pounds, this handsome Husky has captured hearts in the San Fernando Valley since arriving from the San Bernardino City Shelter. Energetic and playful, Damien wants to be your best friend right from the first meeting, complete with enthusiastic kisses. He thrives in an active household and requires at least an hour of walking each day; this is definitely not a couch potato. Damien gets along well with most dogs and has a gentle nature, especially with kids. While he may not be as vocal as some Huskies, he makes up for it with his excitement for life. Affectionate by nature, Damien can be a bit mouthy, but he responds well to correction. He's still honing his leash skills; he's a young pup learning the ropes. Cats are currently unknown, and he's navigating some minor food guarding with other dogs, but there's nothing aggressive about him. With proper structure, we expect him to progress quickly. Crate trained and neutered, he can manage alone for up to four hours. Damien is truly a diamond looking for someone to help him shine.
