Meet Buffy! Buffy is a big, sunny girl radiating positivity and joy. Found as a stray in South Dakota, she embraces each day with a happy face and her distinctive "helicopter tail" that spins in circles whenever she's excited. Currently on an inspiring weight-loss journey, Buffy enjoys daily walks and a healthier diet. She loves peaceful morning strolls and soaking up affection from her favorite humans. Gentle and smart, she gets along well with familiar dogs, but can be reactive to strangers, so continued training and management are important. Buffy has some arthritis and takes medication to stay comfortable. A low-key home without many stairs would suit her best. While she previously had a benign growth removed from one of her toes, she’s doing well right now. If you’re seeking a sweet, easygoing companion with an affectionate spirit and a goofy smile, Buffy is eager to find a family to support her on this journey.
