Meet Lisa. Over a year ago, she came to us with one of the biggest responsibilities a dog can have—she was pregnant. After safely raising her beautiful puppies, Lisa watched them all move on to their forever homes. Now, it’s finally her turn to find a loving family. When Lisa first arrived, she was shy and unsure of people, unsure of her future. But with time, patience, and love, she has completely transformed. Now, at about 2 years old and 50 pounds, Lisa is one of the happiest, goofiest dogs you'll ever meet. She loves to play and is dog-friendly when introduced properly. Lisa walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands. Overflowing with love, affection, and joy, she offers the perfect mix of playful energy and gentle sweetness. Lisa is ready to enjoy roughhousing with her favorite people or dog friends, then curl up beside you for cuddles. Currently thriving in her foster home, she would love a playful canine sibling but would also be happy as the center of someone's world. While she hasn't been cat tested, her playful personality might suggest a higher prey drive. It’s hard to believe that after more than a year, this incredible girl is still waiting for a family.
