Sunny is a sweet girl rescued from a difficult hoarding situation. Currently in a foster home, she's learning to embrace being a cherished pet. At around 2 years old and weighing a manageable 28 lbs, she’s not large. Although she starts off shy and fearful, with love and patience, she's beginning to trust those around her. In foster care, she’s shown her playful side by wagging her tail, seeking pets, and absolutely loving treats. Sunny is spayed, fully vetted, and microchipped. She's crate trained and reliably goes out to potty on leash. Due to her timid nature, it's crucial to take her out on a leash, even in a fenced yard, as she can be a flight risk. Ideal for a calm, loving home, Sunny will thrive with an owner who can offer her patience. She enjoys the company of other dogs as long as they aren’t too big, and she can be around children who are 9 years and older.
