About Harvey
Harvey is a 7-year-old male Goldendoodle with a golden coat and a medium-length mane. Weighing in at 80 pounds, he's the pick of the litter; his larger size comes from his love for food, which has also made training easier. He knows commands like sit, stay, lay down, and smile, among others. He’s particularly food motivated and will let you know when his water bowl is empty by staring pointedly at you before giving you a thoughtful look toward the faucet. When guests arrive, Harvey loves to greet them with 'gifts'—usually shoes or toys. His smile, though charming, may seem intimidating at first glance. While he loves the children in his home, caution is advised; Harvey has shown aggression toward small children and can be unpredictable when eating. He gets along well with some dogs but desires to establish dominance, and prolonged sniffing could provoke a bite. Harvey is an adventurer at heart. He excels on a leash and is accustomed to a good amount of exercise, capable of running 10-15 miles on trails. However, he’s not great at mountain biking as his paws can get sore if he goes too fast.
