Her family cares deeply for her, but given that there are young children in the house, they've made the tough decision to seek a better fit for her. Mabel has been uncomfortable around small kids and has shown food guarding behaviors, so her ideal situation is one that provides a calm environment with older children or adults. Mabel is a medium-sized, spayed female who is crate trained and fully housebroken. She walks nicely on a leash and loves both outdoor adventures and cozy naps. To keep her happy and healthy, Mabel thrives on a routine of three smaller meals throughout the day, as an empty stomach can upset her. While she may be shy at first, Mabel enjoys the company of adults and is affectionate once she gets to know you.
