Alana ECAS came to our shelter on 2/20/26 after being found in Castro Valley. She’s a sweet, quiet girl who simply desires companionship and love. Alana has a reserved demeanor, often seen curled up in her blanket in her kennel, patiently waiting for someone to notice her. While she enjoys walks and some playful zoomies outside, she quickly transitions to belly rubs and cuddle time. This medium energy dog would likely do best in a quieter home environment. Alana prefers human interaction and isn’t keen on sharing her space with other dogs, possibly due to past encounters. She arrived with some wounds that likely contributed to her cautious nature around canines.
