About Monty

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Monty, a calm, gentle, and incredibly loving pitbull mix who is always ready to make new friends—both human and canine. He adores long strolls and especially enjoys the freedom to run and play on the beach, his absolute favorite spot. With a striking brindle coat and medium-length fur, Monty catches the eye as he bounds through the sand or lounges contentedly on the couch. Monty is the perfect blend of playful and easy-going. While he can show a protective streak around larger or unaltered dogs, he is typically very quiet, only barking when something truly piques his interest. Monty is happiest cuddling with his person or taking a peaceful nap on your lap. He’s house trained, knows several commands like 'sit', 'stay', and 'come', and is eager to learn more—especially when treats are involved! This lovable companion loves his toys, enjoys fetch (though he’s still perfecting 'drop it'), and can switch from couch potato to zoomies with ease. Because of his strong prey drive, Monty wouldn’t be suited to a home with cats or small critters. He would thrive with someone seeking a devoted, quiet, and affectionate friend to share life’s adventures and cozy nights alike. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
