About Chickadee Arriving D

Chickadee is a resilient soul who was left alone in an apartment for six days before finding his way to a loving shelter and then to a foster home. He’s now on his journey to Minnesota for a fresh start and is eager to find a permanent home. This little guy is still adjusting after his past experiences, showing some anxiety when confined but thrives with the right encouragement. He’s been great with kids in his foster home, welcoming their cuddles and playtime. Initially a bit shy around new faces, it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and start having fun. He’s making excellent strides with potty training and will need continued support in that area. Chickadee gets along well with cats, other dogs, and adults, making him a versatile addition to many families. He deserves a patient home that will show him love and understanding. He’s sure to bring plenty of joy and goofiness into your life. Chickadee is arriving from Texas and will be available for pickup at the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN, on 7/25/2026, between 9am and noon. Make sure to plan accordingly!
