Summer is a resilient 7-year-old mixed breed who has overcome a tough start in life. After being abandoned when her family lost their home, she found safety with a loving foster family that has helped her heal. Placed in a shelter where she felt scared and alone, she struggled, but thankfully, she got a second chance thanks to @miraclelanefarmnsanctuary. Now, Summer is eager to find her forever home. She gets along well with older kids and cats, but prefers to be the only dog in the household. Whether it’s short walks or long strolls, she simply loves being by your side. Playtime with rope toys is a favorite, but don't worry—she knows the importance of a good nap afterward! Affectionate and well-behaved, she isn’t a barker and is fully housetrained. Summer will let you know when it’s time for a potty break. Although she can get a bit sad when left alone, her foster auntie is helping her with that. What's more, she's a pro at loose leash walking and responding to commands. Summer has so much love to give, and she’s ready to mend her heart with a new family.
