About Kong

Meet Kong, a cheerful Great Pyrenees in Lake Wylie, SC! Around 1-2 years old and heartworm negative, he is fully vetted and ready for a loving home. Kong and his brother were surrendered when their previous owners realized they were growing larger than expected—an amusing shortcoming. Despite this, they both bring immense joy to their surroundings. Kong is friendly with other dogs, gentle around children, and good with cats. He enjoys walking on a leash and loves car rides, always eager to be with his humans. While they can be adopted separately, Kong loves to engage in play, but he’s also perfectly content chilling out. He is house trained, affectionate, and in need of a home where he can thrive. Although currently kenneled with other dogs, he does well without any issues. This friendly fella is eager to start a new chapter in life. Adoption is open to out-of-state residents, and transport may be available. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
