About Tugle

Tugle landed with us after slipping through the cracks usually missed by breed-specific rescues. He and his brother Cosmo arrived labeled as Kangal shepherd dogs, but honestly, that's not the whole story. From the start, something about these boys stood out—less purebred, more fantastic patchwork of a handful of big, stubborn, protective breeds. Our best guess: a bit of Kangal, maybe, and certainly a mix of six breeds as revealed by Tugle's DNA test. Around here, that makes them "Fangals"—our made-up name for these fake Kangals (if doodles count, so do Fangals). What you get with Tugle is a large, medium-coated, youthful, fully vetted, and neutered pup with solid house manners. He’s good with other dogs, especially strong-minded females, and does well with kids. Tugle thrives with guardians who understand livestock guardian personalities—think independent, sometimes stubborn, always alert. He’s ready for a home with folks who appreciate a good mix, a protective streak, and a brand-new designer breed you won’t find anywhere else. Click apply to start the adoption process.
