About Sam

Sam came to us from a Kentucky shelter after being found as a stray. This small male Corgi has striking merle markings and one blue eye, making him truly one-of-a-kind. At about 1 year old, he's still adjusting to his new life and needs a gentle home where he can feel safe. He is a little skittish around quick movements, so a household with small children may not be the best fit for him. Once you earn his trust, Sam is affectionate and eager for love. He currently resides in a foster home with other dogs but prefers human companionship over canine company. Although he may sit quietly at first, once he feels secure, he will blossom into a loving friend. His vet care is all up to date, and he has been neutered. Please note that he may need some supervision and patience as he learns housebreaking habits. Your new best friend is waiting for you!
