Mr. Huckleberry is a joyful 4-month-old puppy looking for his forever home. This playful pup, a mix of Labrador Retriever and Shepherd, thrives in the company of other dogs, cats, and children. He has enjoyed his time in a loving foster home in the DC area, where he demonstrates good manners, even learning from his adult foster siblings. Mr. Huckleberry loves to play, and he’s eager to become a part of your life. He is a lively little guy who, despite his teething phase, has been great at chewing only his toys. With a heart full of energy, he’s ready to explore his new surroundings on walks and make lots of doggie friends along the way. While he's quickly warming up to people, he still cherishes cuddles between his play sessions. An important note for potential adopters: since he’s a baby, Mr. Huckleberry will need regular potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Make sure you can accommodate this as you welcome him into your home! As a future family member, he’ll also benefit from obedience classes to help him grow into a well-behaved companion.
