About Baxter
Meet Baxter. This charming 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier is a little bundle of personality. He has his own quirks โ sometimes grumpy and often wanting things his way. Baxter loves to jump on your lap for some affectionate kisses, but be sure to approach him on his terms; heโs not a fan of being picked up. Baxter knows how to play well with other dogs, although heโs quite possessive about his favorite spot on your lap. Previously cherished by a soldier whose deployment forced him to find another home, Baxter deserves a new family. He is stunning and mostly quiet, only voicing when he needs to step outside to potty, and he's quite clear about that! Best suited for a patient adult-only home, Baxter needs an understanding environment where he can feel safe and learn to trust again, as he tends to be nervous around children. He walks well on a leash and relishes his playtime in the yard with his furry friends, as long as they stay off his lap! Consider welcoming Baxter into your heart and home. Heโs a sweet boy looking for a gentle touch in a forever family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
