About Edward Scissorpaws

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Imagine being born on a peaceful farm and facing an uncertain start, only to discover hope thanks to kind rescuers. Edward Scissorpaws and his brothers were left without proper care after leaving their mother, relying on each other for comfort and safety. At first, they were wild with fear and needed lots of gentle patience from their rescue to start trusting people, preferring to observe from a distance until they felt secure. With time, and by seeing humans interacting lovingly with other dogs, Edward started to blossom. Though still the shyest of his siblings, he now gets excited to see his caretakers and eagerly awaits tossed treats, even if he isn’t the first to come forward. Edward stands out by his black coat, often found keeping close to his braver brothers. Edward and his siblings aren’t quite house broken yet, but their time spent outdoors means no accidents in the house so far. They are gentle, bouncy, happy little characters with Jack Russell and Heeler temperaments—a great fit for anyone drawn to playful, energetic but loving pups. Edward is ready for a home that can offer patience and continued gentle socialization. When given the chance, he’ll reward you with his sweet spirit and loyal company! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
