Meet Graceland, known to her friends as Grace. At 5 years old and 52 lbs, she's an energetic, toy-obsessed Husky who’s looking for her next adventure after returning to OFR through no fault of her own. Grace is bursting with personality, full of energy and love for people. She greets everyone wholeheartedly and may jump with excitement, but it's just her way of expressing affection. This super friendly girl listens well (as well as a Husky can!) and has a joyful spirit that makes her an entertaining companion. She thrives in a playful environment, enjoying fetch and playtime with her foster sibling. Grace will happily entertain herself by throwing toys around. While she's independent, she also loves to snuggle and has found her favorite spot on the couch. Grace is great with cats and adaptable with playful dogs, though she would fare best with a companion who won’t challenge her. She does exhibit the classic Husky prey drive, so small creatures in the neighborhood should be mindful. Completely house-trained, Grace has made her disapproval of crating well-known, and it causes her stress. She needs a home that can offer her a crate-free lifestyle, sleeping comfortably beside the bed on her dog bed. Clever and a bit of an escape artist, her new family should be prepared to manage her in a safe way without relying on crates or baby gates. Grace loves exploring the outdoors, enjoying fresh air, and being part of a family. She’s eager to find a household that understands Huskies, appreciates her quirks, and provides the love and freedom she deserves.
