About Buzz
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Buzz is a young, energetic pup who thrives on activity and clear boundaries. He is full of energy, so a home where he can go on long walks, hikes, or play fetch in a fenced yard would be ideal. Buzz warms up slowly to new people, but thanks to his love of food, you'll have a loyal companion once he feels comfortable. He would do well in a home that enjoys outdoor adventures and provides him with structure and opportunities to burn off energy. Training classes, scent work, or agility would likely be a great fit for him, as he enjoys learning and being mentally challenged. Buzz has lived with cats before and is reported to ignore them, even letting them rub on him. He's also done well interacting with social dogs, playing rough at times but able to settle and coexist peacefully. Due to his current high energy and enthusiasm, a home without young children is best. Buzz is treat-motivated, which makes training both easy and enjoyable. He is currently in a board and train program to brush up on his manners and social skills, and his adopter will benefit from follow-up sessions with his trainer to ensure a smooth transition. If you lead an active life and want a loyal, athletic sidekick, Buzz could be your perfect match. He just needs patience, direction, and plenty of activity to be his best self.
