About Zap
Zap is a 6-month-old Miniature Schnauzer mix with striking black fur and an adorable wire coat. Behind his timid eyes lies a spirit waiting to discover that the world can be a safe place. Having come to us unsocialized, he's still learning to navigate everyday experiences, which can be overwhelming for him. Fast movements, unfamiliar faces, and busy spaces can frighten him, but with kindness and patience, he's gradually realizing he is safe. He would flourish in a calm and structured home with an adopter who recognizes that building trust takes time. Zap needs someone who will let him move at his own pace and celebrate his little victories. Currently, he finds comfort in the company of other dogs, so respectful canine friends would help him gain confidence in his surroundings. If you're compassionate and patient, looking for a dog whose trust will be rewarding to earn, Zap could be the perfect companion for you. Help him discover what it truly feels like to be home.
