Helene is a small, spayed female Schnauzer/terrier mix with a white and cream coat and soft, medium-length fur. At about nine years old, she's considered a senior and happens to be deaf, but she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying life. Rescued from a shelter, Helene is up to date on her vaccinations and tested heartworm negative. She’s still working on house training, and will do best with someone patient and experienced with special needs pets. Despite her hearing impairment, Helene is quite friendly and gets along well with other dogs. She approaches new routines with intelligence and a bit of independent spirit.
