About Scotty
Meet Scotty! This adorable 8-year-old little guy is in search of a special family to call his own. Having been through quite a lot, including a past as a stray in Kentucky where he was suspected to have been hit by a car, Scotty has shown remarkable resilience. He underwent amputation of one leg and successfully completed treatment for heartworm. Now, he’s all set to leave those tough days behind and start his new journey toward a loving forever home. Scotty is a tripod with a gentle and affectionate nature. He's discovered how wonderful pets and attention can be and seeks them out happily. Scotty thrives on spending time with his loved ones and possesses a calm demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. He does well on a leash, although he’s still gaining confidence while adjusting to life on three legs. A fenced yard is his preference for exploration at his own pace. Scotty is also housetrained and knows to go outside. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is non-reactive around cats and small animals, and is great with children. Scotty isn’t looking for perfection—just a family who will embrace him as he is. For those seeking a kind-hearted companion with a resilient spirit, Scotty could be your perfect match.
