About Haseya aka Skunk
Haseya, pronounced hah-SAY-yah, means "she rises" in Navajo, and this name truly captures the spirit of this sweet girl. At just over a year old, she's an enthusiastic and affectionate dog with a heart of gold. Haseya is the lovable, slightly awkward friend who's always excited to join in on the fun. Although she's still building her confidence, her cheerful disposition and eagerness to please make her hard to resist. To thrive, Haseya needs a forever home with another confident dog who can help guide her. Given her spirited nature, she would do best with kids aged 12 and older. She is both crate trained and potty trained, although sheβs still learning to signal her humans when it's time to go out. With a healthy prey drive, Haseya would thrive in a home without cats or small animals. If youβre looking for a hiking buddy, running companion, and snuggle partner, Haseya is your girl. After a day of adventure, she will happily curl up next to you for some quality cuddle time. Haseya is fostered in Woodland Park and you can meet her this weekend at the adoption event in Golden Petco.
